The Person County Board of Elections will conduct its Hand-to-Eye Sample Audit for the 2024 General Election on Thursday, November 07, 2024 at 11 a.m.  This audit is a comparison of the machine counts with hand-to-eye counts to ensure the voting equipment read the voter’s choices correctly.  The audit is conducted by a trained bi-partisan team member and under the observation of staff, board members, and is open to the public.
