Directed by Ray Pearce. Set in Depression-era Maycomb, Alabama in 1935, young Scout Finch lives with her father Atticus Finch, an attorney, & her older brother Jem. When Tom Robinson, a black man, is accused of raping a white woman, Atticus is asked to represent him & accepts; an unpopular decision with the townsfolk. Meanwhile Scout, Jem & another friend forge a bond over one of the neighborhood legends- Boo Radley. This dramatization of the touching classic tale is a meaningful work of art.
