Each year, the Person Soil & Water Conservation District sponsors local students to attend the week‑long Resource Conservation Workshop (RCW) held at NC State University. RCW gives students the hands-on opportunity to explore the following subjects:

• Agricultural Conservation
• Forestry & Plant Science
• Soil Science & Land Use
• Water Resources & Wildlife Conservation

Students may also compete for awards and scholarships during the program.

More information is available on the RCW webpage or by contacting our office.

2027 Resource Conservation Workshop information will be released later.
