Emergency Medical Service (EMS) maintains the highest level of care, responding to medical incidents requiring immediate attention. Medical responses receive an advanced life support paramedic unit that is stationed at EMS Bases strategically located within the County. Additional units are added for special events and State deployments to maintain demand for specialized, increased medical responses.
Community Connection Program
Person County EMS offers many community connection medical and first aid classes to county residents and businesses as well as participating in special events and lectures.

Training & Compliance
EMS Training & Compliance is responsible for establishing operational policies and procedures; developing guidelines, standards and aggressive protocols for patient treatment and transfer; and approving EMS personnel training programs.
